CoSign is an innovative project that brings artists, business owners and sign makers together to impact the vitality of neighborhood business districts. CoSign is a partnership between the American Sign Museum, ArtPlace America, the Haile/U.S. Bank Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
We had the extreme pleasure of working with CoSign from it's inception all the way through to the development of an extensive toolkit. In addition to the logo development and general graphic design, we collaborated closely with the subject matter experts (zoning, historic preservation, engineering and fabrication) to develop and communicate the process for artists, business owners and sign makers.
Our hope was to not only give an identity to the project, but also to turn a complex process into a clear and navigable experience for its users. Check out the following to see some of the examples of the graphic identity, worksheets, submission templates and the final comprehensive toolkit.
